Some ponds may need filters repaired, replaced, an upgrade to an existing system or just simple tweaks. We have a great insight into the different pond filters, pumps, conditioners and other products that are used in the industry. This helps us guide our clients to reliable brands, get the best value for money and get the correct equipment for their individual needs.
Pond Services – What to expect
Most pond services consist of a major water change, pond vacuum, pressure clean (if necessary), pruning of pond plants, servicing and cleaning of pond filters, water chemistry testing and appropriate adjustment.
Fish are housed safely in large tubs during the process.
We usually get a good opportunity to assess the pond pumps, filters, UV sterilizers and other equipment. We stock a variety of spare parts, pumps, UV bulbs etc, should anything be needed to enhance the running of the pond. Often, we will adapt standard pond pumps to reduce maintenance and reduce the frequency of cleaning needed on the pump/s.
Excess Algae growth is a very common problem with ponds. We stock a large range of conditioners. We use these to help keep ponds looking good for a much longer period between general cleaning and maintenance.
Advice on the best options for future additions of fish and plants can be given. This is something we are happy to organise for clients if they prefer.
